Before grad school even started, I made a commitment to myself: to be sure and make time for writing and editing. Lucky for me, the Student Development Administration program at Seattle U publishes an annual academic journal titled MAGIS. In 2012, I was on the Editorial Board, and in 2013, I became Co-Editor-in-Chief. The journal is full of personal reflection and scholarly rhetoric, and although the hard-hitting research was difficult to weed through, the rigorousness of it made me a more succinct and deliberate reviewer. Below are the finished products.
